Aimee’s hybrid of influences has resulted in a sound that is at once both fresh and enlivening, which is to say nothing of her singular voice, destined to enthrall audiences for decades to come. Tickets go on sale August 18th.
Vocalist Cyrille Aimee was primarily raised in Samois-sur-Seine, France, the same place where legendary gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt had lived, which contributed to her great love of gypsy musical influences. There is a parking garage next to the theater that is not owned by the theater. Parking is generally $10 for Folly patrons, although on evenings with large, downtown Kansas City events, parking could be up to $15.
