Carlos, a peaceful man, looks how his quiet life is shaken when Marta, a girl aged 13, irrupts in it and starts to extort him. Unable to defend himself, he becomes involved in a series of distressing situations.

Watch this award-winning film as part of the XXVI Latin American Film Festival of Kansas City.

Films are in Spanish with English subtitles. Group discussion after each film. Main funding for this program is provided by the Kansas Humanities Council, a nonprofit cultural organization that connects communities with history, traditions, and ideas to strengthen civic life.

Passes to the five films will be available for $25 at the theatre on the first day of the Festival.
