Tchaikovsky considered the “Pathétique” Symphony his very best, stating he “loved it as I have never loved any of my other musical offspring.” Emerging pianist Andrew Tyson stars in Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto, a marvelous display of poetry and fireworks.
