Return to the Classics, a great books group discussion, will study Gordon Marino’s Basic Writings of Existentialism for the spring 2018 gathering.
Led by Tom Ventresca,’70, the discussion will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, March 26, at Rockhurst University in Massman Hall room 241.
In his book, Marino highlights the most influential and frequently studied works of existentialism by philosophers including Simone de Beauvoir, Albert Camus, and Friedrich Nietzsche. Marino introduces writers with an overview of their work and captures the essence of each text.
