Between Silence and Light: Concert 2

With the music of the Baroque period as a starting point, our series will explore the language of the arts through music, architecture, word, art & dance.

CONCERT II • Music, Word, & Art

Friday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Ron Witzke discusses silence and the search for beauty. The art of Makoto Fujimura will be explored in relationship to his journey of artistic expression inspired by the novel, SILENCE, by Shūsaku Endō. The second of Ian Coleman’s newly commissioned works will be premiered, along with Baroque works of the masters.
