“Hear the Future Now.” Youth Symphony of Kansas City engages more than 400 students throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan Area in a high-quality music education program.

The organization is comprised of four orchestras and a new string quartet program in collaboration with the Opus 76 Quartet.

Our 2022-2023 Season includes weekly in-person rehearsals and concerts. Students will learn from professional musicians and music educators, including instrumentalists from the Kansas City Symphony and faculty from area colleges and universities.  Concerts are held in the area’s most cherished performance halls, including Helzberg Hall at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and Yardley Hall at the Midwest Trust Center at Johnson County Community College.
