The exhibit will highlight students in the University’s Special Topics in Art or Design class.
The Campanella Gallery at Park University will open its 2017-18 exhibition season with a group exhibit featuring the artwork of Park art and graphic design students and alumni. The exhibit, highlighting students in the University’s Special Topics in Art or Design class (AR 315).
Six students and alumni will be featured in the exhibit:
• Marie Brink, 2017 graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine art.
• Jennifer DeFreece, senior graphic design major.
• Astrid Gonzalez, senior graphic design major.
• Persis Grubbs, 2017 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design.
• Abigail Ranes, junior graphic design major.
• Stevie Smith, senior fine art and secondary education/K-12 fine art major.
The students/alumni worked with Andrea Lee, Ph.D., director of the Campanella Gallery and assistant professor of art, design and interdisciplinary studies, to develop a body of artwork based on a topic of interest they wanted to explore over the course of the semester.

The building will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4, for the Labor Day holiday.
