UMKC Choirs at the Conservatory perform a benefit concert for the KC Care Clinic, directed by Robert Bode
UMKC’s All-Campus Choir, the University Singers, is an auditioned mixed ensemble comprised of singers from all fields of academic study as well as members of the Kansas City choral community. They share in an ability and love for making music at a high level. The University Singers perform a wide variety of challenging and diverse choral repertoire from numerous historical eras and cultures.
The Conservatory Singers is a select chamber ensemble (24-34 singers) dedicated to performing music of the 16-21st centuries at the highest possible artistic level.
Canticum Novum is a small select mixed chamber ensemble (12-20 singers).
The Kansas City CARE Clinic is an integral part of the health care delivery system in the Kansas City community. As it was formed to do in 1971, the Clinic provides basic health care services to people who cannot afford them and to those challenged with access to care.
