In celebration of CSF’s 20th Anniversary campaign, “Every Street Is Charlotte Street” is leaving its mark at The Folly Theatre with a one night showcase featuring some of Charlotte Street’s former award-winning fellows.
The event is an “Every Street Is Charlotte Street” Composers Showcase.
The Charlotte Street Foundation presents a one night only performance featuring five Kansas City player composers debuts at the historic Folly Theatre. "Time's Not Listening" features original works by past CSF award winners, Patrick Alonzo Conway, Brad Cox, Amado Espinoza, Jeff Harshbarger, and Ashley Miller. The composers will collaborate and perform new bodies of work in celebration of Charlotte Street's 20th Anniversary. “Time’s Not Listening” will be a musical exploration that will challenge the perception of what time and space means to you. This special event features players who will open your mind with hypnotic and melodic performances. You can expect to see a wide variety of experiences from Andean music to trance throughout the evening.
"Time's Not Listening" is produced through the support of the Metzler-Copaken Initiative Grant.
The event is open to the public and tickets are now available.
