Harlem is one of America’s most important cultural centers, and there is no better advocate of the Harlem spirit than Dance Theatre of Harlem. Founded shortly after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to inspire children with dance, Dance Theatre of Harlem has evolved into an outstanding institution.

An experience at the Kauffman Center begins the moment you arrive, with a convenient, well-lit parking garage, owned and operated by the City of Kansas City, Missouri. The garage is directly attached to the Kauffman Center just south of the building with multiple access points to surrounding streets.

Garage parking passes and valet parking passes are available in advance for most events. Please note that if the garage is full patrons without a pre-paid pass will not be able to park in the Arts District Garage.
