Anna Dorrance

Artist’s Statement: My thoughts were hard to express so I started making photographs and found that a picture could actually speak a thousand words. Fast forward 30 years and I am now working to digitally merge pictures to record my dreams and thoughts. Now fantasy can become my reality.

Biography:  Anna Dorrance is an artist and photographer and has attended the professional photography program of the Atlanta based Southeastern Center for the Arts (SCA).  A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Anna is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.  She has studied with Neil Chaput de Saintonge at SCA, who studied with Ansel Adams.  Anna is married with one son and lives in Leawood.
