Anne Kniggendorf

Anne is the author of Secret Kansas City (Reedy Press, Sept. 2020) and a Kansas City-based freelance writer who is a regular contributor to KCUR 89.3 (NPR in Kansas City), the Kansas City Star, and sometimes in the Pitch, Kansas City Magazine, the Kauffman Foundation, and other local publications. Her  work has also been published by the Smithsonian, National Public Radio, the Saturday Evening Post, Electric Literature, Ploughshares, Publishers Weekly, The Punch Magazine (India), the Los Angeles Review of Books, the Chicago Review of Books, the Glasgow Review of Books, Rain Taxi, and Drink Me Magazine.
