The state of affairs in the world has affected us all. Polarization, love, hate, wealth, poverty – I care deeply about the way forward and reflect this in my art.

I imbue my art with deep meaning and symbolism to inspire peace, stewardship for Mother Earth, and a sense of global community. I let what wants to spill out onto the canvas do so of its own accord. Sometimes I take nature photos that speak to me with their play of light and shadow and hint at a sense of intrigue or mystery below the surface. I use these to paint or sketch. I aim to calm and comfort my audience through the art which did that for me during its creation.
