I am a welder focusing on sculptures initially with no particularly focused. Over the past few years I have focused on abstract horse sculptures. My drive for creative expression burst out in 2011 when I developed by rural studio. My three mentors are Michel Beaudry and Bonnie Baxter of Val Davíd, Quebec, and Corva, my lifelong partner. I was initially influenced by the works of Doug Owens and then by the cubist, Braque and Picasso. I rapidly drifted to what was deeply scripted from within and recently shaped by the century old cubism period of art. My love for abstraction comes from my desire for the audience to participate. I shy away from the finished and polished works allowing my sculptures to adopt a weathered patina. The materials came from the earth and will return to the same.
