Cid Gillispie

I am an acrylic and pastel painter living in Mission, KS.  I attended studio sessions with Philomene Bennett before acquiring my own studio at the Livestock Exchange Building.  Relying on and responding to music as a motivator,  I strive to faithfully depict images from the memories of my travels, whether abstract or literal. Color and texture come out to play together quite often.  My hope for the viewer is to search for something in my art that will leave a lasting impression.
