Evin Felix

Evin Felix grew up in Prairie Village, Kansas where she currently resides with her husband Richard and their two sons: Oliver and Zeke. Daughter to an illustrator and an art teacher, Evin was immersed in art from a young age. Little did she know that completing her first oil painting at the age of 8 years old would mark the beginning of her lifelong career as an oil painter.
Evin received her BFA from the University of Kansas in 2006. Evin finds inspiration everywhere. In a time when we are bombarded with images of ugliness, violence, and destruction, her goal as an artist is to depict the natural, understated beauty that still exists in our world. Many of her paintings are renderings of photos that she has taken at home and abroad. Whether it’s a boat resting calmly on a glassy sea or a quiet expansive landscape, Evin strives to artfully depict feelings of peace and beauty in her work.
