  • "Untitled 001" is an audio-reactive painting work created by Ian O'Neill and performed on Guitar and Electronics by Seth Andrew Davis. rnrnPerformed live at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival on rnJune 19, 2023 at the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture.rnrnrnThe goal of piece is to create a visual capsulation of performance in an abstract format. Using Max MSP, I sought to create a truly unique 1-of-1 experience that can capture the importance and randomness of a moment. Seth is an improvisational player by nature meaning the guitar and electronic performance could not be replicated. The visual now serves as a stand alone digital art piece, the only true understanding of the "meaning" behind the work is owned by those who were there when the work was created.
