John Rensenhouse

Mr. Rensenhouse has toured nationally with the Broadway productions of The Lion King and Noises Off and has performed at many of the nation’s major regional theatres including the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Hartford Stage, the McCarter Theatre, Arena Stage in Washington D.C., Cincinnati Playhouse, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Alabama Shakespeare Festival and the Utah Shakespearean Festival but is proud to call Kansas City home. 

He serves as the Artistic Chair of Kansas City Actors Theatre and has directed many shows there including Long Day’s Journey Into Night, And Then There Were None and Glengarry Glen Ross.  As an actor here in town, he has performed in many shows at the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Kansas City Rep, the New Theatre, Starlight, the Unicorn, the Living Room and KCAT.

His TV and movie credits include The Edge of Night, L.A. Law, thirtysomething, Who’s the Boss and the original Candyman.
