Mary Kay Fosnacht

Mary Kay Fosnacht is a fiber artist living in Overland Park, KS who uses commercial cotton and hand-dyed fabric. She finds inspiration in the modern aesthetic with solid fabrics in bold colors, strong geometric patterns and the use of negative space.

Mary Kay’s evolution from landscape and representational work to abstract has pushed her to utilize her creativity to communicate the essence of a story with line, color and texture. The recipient of local and national awards, Mary Kay’s art quilts have been juried into gallery and museum exhibits around the country.
