I’m an artist who finds inspiration in geometric design and nostalgic themes. My journey has been shaped by my early forays into photography, my expertise in computer graphics, and my love of the video game art of my youth.

At 15, I discovered photography and special effects, inspired by Star Wars. I honed my skills in my high school’s photography club and purchased my first computer in 1981. By 1990, I was a skilled computer graphics designer and started working in multimedia and web design.

During the late 90s, I started acrylic painting and in 2004, I developed a grid painting system inspired by Piet Mondrian’s art and the pixel art style of my youth. I got into digital photography in 2005 and began creating art prints and posters of my illustrations and photos using a large photo printer in 2008.

In 2017, I scaled up my grid paintings, using much larger canvases. In 2020, I adapted my digital illustrations and grid paintings into a mixed media style that included elements manipulated by hand, evoking the nostalgia of foldable lawn furniture.

My influences include Piet Mondrian, Roy Lichtenstein, Jeff Koons, and David Hockney. I aim to create thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing art, often incorporating illustrations to tell a story or evoke emotions.
