Expressionist Artist
Creator of Symbolic Surrealism; Explorer of Emotion with Humor
Art was my world during high school and when I began college. I was President of the Art Club then started at KU, pursuing a Visual Arts Education and Art History degree.
I’ll always remember my drawing professor’s impactful assessment that I had the ethereal and seemingly unattainable “it.” And I was honored to receive the Amsden Award via the Kress Foundation Department of Art History.
But life happened. As it does. A series of decisions that somehow seemed right at the time . . . Then I lost my divorginity. It was the catalyst for awakening from my nearly 20-year creative coma. I’m invigorated to make up for lost time; open to possibilities.
