Susana Bruhn

Susana Bruhn has shown in several Greater Kansas City Area galleries – from downtown, the Crossroads Art District, and Overland Park plus she had a piece featured on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and a Masters in Education from Iowa State University.

Having worked for the Kansas City Art Institute and Hallmark, Susana is currently Executive Director of GUILDit, an organization that provides business programs for artists. She has also done educational programming for the last 20 years in colleges and the community. Topics she has taught vary from creativity, personal development, clinical evaluations, to technology.

Her current artwork spans across four series: ‘Ukraine Outreach’ are prints of pencil drawings,  ‘Waves of Color: Colorized Landscapes’ and ‘Abstract Affirmations’ both are acrylics on canvas, plus ‘Grounded: Cell Commentary’ uses recycled phone parts on wood.
