Wanda Bellamy

Art has always been Wanda’s passion, and as a native New Yorker, The Metropolitan Museum of Art was her home away from home.  Since moving to the Kansas City area in 1976 she has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Central Missouri in both Commercial Art and Studio Art, with concentrations in Illustration and Painting respectively.  She also has an Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design.

Acrylics are Wanda’s medium of choice, although she also enjoys working with oils, pastels and graphite, as well as experimenting with texture and mixed media.  She has received several awards including Best of Show and Juror’s Choice at various venues, and currently resides in Raymore, Missouri with her husband and two pets.
