The Advocacy and Awareness Group of Johnson County (AAGJC) and the Arts Council of Johnson County (ACJC) are presenting a graphic design contest for AAGJC’s 2nd Annual Peace March and Rally.  Would you be willing to help us share the opportunity with your networks?

The call is to create a graphic design that is for the Advocacy and Awareness Group of Johnson County (AAGJC) to print on t-shirts and bags promoting their 2nd Annual Advocacy and Awareness Peace March and Rally, happening this year on June 19th (Juneteenth) in Overland Park, KS.

AAGJC Mission Statement:
The Advocacy and Awareness Group of Johnson County formed in direct response to the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis Police Officers. We are committed to amplifying the voices of underrepresented groups that are subject to racial discrimination and prejudice. We demand to see an end to systemic racism. We advocate for underrepresented groups in Johnson County by bringing awareness to their value in our community, organizing events centered around diversity, and educating all people about what the definition of social justice truly means.

Designs are accepted starting May 3rd, 2021 and must be submitted by May 17th, 2021 at 11:59pm CST. Artists may submit between one (1) and three (3) designs.
