2018 Scholarship Awards Reception for MCC-Penn Valley Student Art Show & SALE

MCC-Penn Valley Carter Art Center Gallery proudly presents its annual Student Art Exhibit & SALE, beginning Thursday, April 5th. The exhibit also includes a special Scholarship Awards Reception on the 5th from 4-8 p.m.

This year we are honored to have local artist, Suzann Geringer, a painter and printmaker who instructs at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art serving as exhibit judge.

Awards include:
—Creative Coldsnow Artist Materials and Framing Awards
— Artist & Craftsman Supply Kansas City Award
—The Roasterie Kansas City Air Roasted Coffee Artist Opportunity Awards

Also, we will be awarding four $300 scholarships on behalf of our members of the Friends of The Carter Art Center.

The show runs April 5-April 21. 100% Art SALES goes to Art Students!
