Absence Makes the Heart

Presented by KC FRINGE at The Buffalo Room, Kansas City MO

Jul 20 - 28 2018
Absence Makes the Heart

A DISAPPEARANCE AND THE RIPPLE EFFECT IT CAUSES

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's "The Red Shoes", "Absence Makes the Heart" explores the ripple effect caused by the disappearance of a ballet dancer as told by those affected near and far. By exploring the seen and unseen, the said and unsaid, and the humanity of us all, "Absence Makes the Heart" seeks to answer the question, if a dancer falls in a forest... Written by Sean Abley, Directed by Gabriel Livingston, and performed by students from the University of Central Missouri.
