Alyssa Murray Quartet in the Blue Room Thursday, March 15th.

The Alyssa Murray Quartet combines jazz with the narrative elements of contemporary folk resulting in songs with colorful inner and outer worlds. Led by Alyssa Murray (vocals/keys), the quartet aims to explore the harmonic and collaborative nature of jazz along with the thought-provoking imagery and lyrics of contemporary folk. Murray’s writing style draws from an eclectic range of influences including Joni Mitchell and Jobim.
