Artists of Kosovo

A first of its kind exhibit for the City of Lee’s Summit, Artists of Kosovo is a collaborative presentation of contemporary artworks by the teaching faculty of AAB College in Kosovo. Located in Pristine, the capital city of Kosovo, AAB College is the first private university in the Kosovo.
Guest Curator, Fitim Aliu, is a professor and Vice Dean of Arts at AAB-University in Prishtina, Kosovo. Fitim regularly curates international exhibitions featuring a collective of visual art professors from AAB-University. His Lee’s Summit connection? He is cousin to the owners of Bella Italian Restaurant, which opened last year. He and his colleagues have most recently exhibited in the Dallas area where the owners of the restaurant previously resided. Now that they’re in Lee’s Summit, Fitim is excited to showcase the artists of Kovoso in the Kansas City region – starting with Lee’s Summit.
