Break Free Kansas City Hip Hop School - GRAND OPENING EVENT!

FREE EVENT! Our BREAK FREE GRAND OPENING is a night for us to inform the community about what our SCHOOL is about and what we have to offer for the coming year. Our goal is to continue making a strong impact on our student community with dance, creative programs, projects, and events. Along with providing general information about BREAK FREE, the Grand Opening will also have a meet and greet with the STAFF, 1 VS 1 BREAKING BATTLE, 1 VS 1 ALLSTYLE BATTLE and DJ DEMONSTRATION!

Beyond this unique event, Break Free Kansas City offers weekly classes featuring authentic instruction in Breakdancing and DJing—using state of the art turntables, mixers, and vinyl. We will also be periodically hosting creative arts workshops that focus on the Hip-Hop elements of Graffiti Writing and Emceeing. Break Free KC is bringing REAL Hip-Hop to the community and delivering it with a focus on peace, love, unity, and fun! The Break Free Kansas City team is led by owner James aka SugEasy Singleton: a dancer, teacher, choreographer, artist, and advocate for the positivity represented by true Hip-Hop Culture who’s been actively working in the KC dance scene for over 20 years. SugEasy is a practitioner of all the creative elements of Hip-Hop—Breaking, DeeJaying, Emceeing, Beat Boxing and Graffiti Writing. SugEasy’s goals are to enlighten as many minds as possible, to elevate the Hip-Hop movement, and to change the public’s perception of his culture from the negative to the positive.
