Brush Creek Art Walk 2018

Included in the Open Spaces – Expanded Field: An annual outdoor (plein air) painting competition located along a 4-mile stretch of Kansas City’s picturesque Country Club Plaza.

The public is invited to come out and walk, bike or trike the nearly 4 miles of walkways along Brush Creek as Plein Air (landscape) artists, over the course of three days, paint on-site to complete finalized and framed submissions of local subject matter in oils, pastel, watercolor and various mixed media.

Artist and judge (for 2017), Zak Barnes, provided one of several workshop opportunities for artists both new and experienced, on the lawn of the Nelson
