De Soto, KS Sculpture Reveal / Friday, September 3, 2021 / 4:15PM / North side of De Soto, KS City Hall, 32905 W 84th St., De Soto, KS 66018. Sculpturor, Tim Mispagel, received the votes necessary for his sculpture, “Native Spirit” to be selected.

This event recognizes the first of more public art to come to our city. The De Soto Arts Council and the city administration recognizes the importance of public art to increase the diversity of our community culture. The process to find a sculpture started in March, 2021, when a Call For Artist was distributed regionally. "Native Spirit" received the majority of votes and the artist was notified.
