This course is intended for both beginning and advanced students who are interested in sewing techniques for clothing construction with a focus on experimentation and skill enhancement.
One day only: Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Only 10 places!
Students will:
· Be introduced to a variety of hand and machine sewing techniques, both decorative and practical; and
· Learn to sew with difficult and unusual materials.
Basic fabric for product development and sewing machines (industrial machines, sergers, coverstitch, and blindstitch) will be provided; students must provide their own sewing kit and fabric for sewing projects. A shopping list will be provided.
