Folk Alliance International presents Finest Folk First Fridays

A “listening-room” concert series presenting a diverse selection of the finest in local and regional folk music. Come and listen with us. Free and open to the public.

July’s Finest Folk event will feature two performances by Under The Big Oak Tree, located at our office in the Crossroads District.

First show at 6:30pm
Second show at 7:30pm

Under the Big Oak Tree’s honeyed blend of acoustic American musical traditions has been described as “warm and picturesque with flawless harmonies.” Their new album, The Ark, expands on the band’s “timeless and haunting” sonic palette. Their new songs venture deeper into themes both light and dark.
