French Connection

NAVO opens its 4^th season on September 1 with French Connection, a powerful program of works that all share a connection to France. Led by Shah Sadikov, NAVO’s chamber orchestra will perform the regional premiere of Requiem for Strings by Takemitsu at the Unity Temple on the Plaza. Also on the program are Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune, Copland’s Appalachian Spring (original version) and Haydn’s symphony No. 82, “L’Ours”.
