April 19 – May 31 | Tickets $5 | Hardship to Hope, Platte County’s Story in Art and Artifact featuring art of the late Matthew Silber | Highlights Civil War period. Pictorial walk through regional history reflecting national themes. Family friendly.

Through May 31, Thurs/Fridays 1-4 pm (Sunday May 5 from 1-4 pm) the Ben Ferrel Platte County Museum at 220 Ferrel Street, Platte City, will feature the display Hardship to Hope: A Story of Platte County in Art and Artifact. The display includes enlarged illustrations from Matthew Silber’s book History Illustrated paired with local artifacts with a Civil War emphasis.
