Jon Johnson Directs a Dance Performance On-board the KC Streetcar

Jon Michael Johnson has produced a dance performance that is responsive to the sounds, planned or random, heard while the KC Streetcar travels its route. Despite our differences, these prompts and responses reveal how our lives, and the different strands of humanity we represent, are woven together by cues.  Our individuality is precious — but perhaps our commonality, revealed by our responses to cues we receive all day, every day, is even more so.  This performance is part of the 2017 Art in the Loop Project: Cue!

The performance will be on board the first streetcar that leaves Union Station after 11:30 am.
