BLUE VALLEY LIBRARY - CHARLES CHICK refers to himself as a serial artist inventor selling his inventions to fortune 500 companies for 40 years. At 75, he wanted to invent new ways of abstract expression on canvas rather than inventing machines to make things more efficient. Chick invented a new art media using recycled plastic called Granite and applied it as sculpture on canvas. After visiting the Orient, he wanted to develop art that conveyed the ancient and spiritual side of the Orient.
