KC Clay Guild Teabowl National Juried Exhibition

KC Clay Guild presents the 12th annual Teabowl National Juried Exhibition, juried by Erica Iman. 65 ceramic teabowls made by 51 US based artists will be exhibited. Erica Iman received her BFA in Ceramics and BSE in Art from the University of Missouri Columbia in 2005 and obtained her MFA in Ceramics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2012. Between earning her degrees she served 2 years in the U.S. Peace Corps on the Eastern Steppe of Mongolia teaching English and Gardening while exploring the Gobi desert and Altai Mountains. In 2007, she was a selected participant in the International Workshop for Ceramic Arts in Tokoname, (IWCAT) Japan program, spending the summer studying contemporary and ancient Japanese pottery and culture.
