A stunning traditional production of Puccini’s tragic tale of a young Geisha and her doomed marriage to a US Naval officer
He loves her...not.
Young love falls for an old lie, in what may be the greatest argument against long-distance relationships ever made. Wrapped in rapturous musical beauty that will bring you to tears is a heartbreaking ending that will bring you to your knees. We can only watch as Butterfly floats toward her fate, like a moth to a flame, like a lamb to the slaughter. ‘Til death do them part.
