Making Do utilizes sight specific installation of soft sculptural works to build upon the ingrained history of this single family house, blurring the line between invented narrative and the history of a home.
Making Do aims to celebrate the identity and history of this single-family house turned gallery while also carving out a new private shelter from its bones. The work in this exhibition is made out of recycled fabrics pieced together from what materials are at hand, much like a child building a fort, in an attempt to bring back a fuller picture of what the space might have once been.
