March Exhibition: Susan Kiefer, Molly Allen, Jennifer Hudson, Hillary Brooks, et. al.

The March exhibitions at the Bunker Center for the Arts are an effort to shine a light on (and celebrate) the voices of local and regional female artists ranging from emerging to mid career. Susan Kiefer’s Solo Exhibition “Into the Light” is showcased in the main galleries and probes the social constraints and roles placed on women in myth, history, and in contemporary issues through a variety of two-dimensional media.

Complimenting “Into the Light” in the adjoining galleries, the two and three dimensional works of Hillary Brooks, Keira Norton, Molly Allen, and Jenn Hudson confront the viewer with expressions and questions of what it means to be female in a patriarchal society.
