FREE | Now – May 31 at Kansas City Artists Coalition | Local artist Elise Gagliardi has taken simple form of the Cairn to symbolize a memorial, remembrance, and celebration of the path that’s been forged and the path ahead.

SNAP SPACE GALLERY - ELISE GAGLIARDI For centuries, people have been stacking piles of rocks in forms of towers, and mounds to signify a multitude of meanings. The Inuit people built Inukshuks as directional markers. Ovoo are piles of sacred stones piled as religious shrines for the mongolian people.
