Musica Sacra Chorus and Orchestra Presents Works by Mozart and Salieri

Musica Sacra Chorus and Orchestra will kick off its season with works by two Austrian master composers, Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.

Since Peter Schaffer’s play and film adaptation Amadeus were released, audiences have imagined the dramatic interaction of Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in the court of the Austrian emperor Joseph II.  Musica Sacra will perform two works written a few years apart by these two composers: Mozart’s Mass in C Major, KV 258 and Salieri’s Emperor Mass.
