Musica Sacra Concert: Magnificat Sunday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Arrupe Hall Auditorium, Rockhurst University A ensemble performance of classical and contemporary music

Musica Sacra will perform the regional premiere of Magnificat by the contemporary Norwegian composer Kim André Arnesen (b. 1980). Composed in 2015, the English publication Gramophone cited its “warmly compassionate music, which positively glows with its soaring, beautifully arched melodic lines.” In addition, the ensemble will perform the Kyrie by Italian composer Nicola Porpora.
