Musica Sacra Concert: Music of Rheinberger and Mendelssohn | Oct. 22, 7: 30 p.m. | Arrupe Hall auditorium, Rockhurst University | This free performance features the Musica Sacra chorus and orchestra performing 19th century German romantic works.

Musica Sacra performs two 19th-century German Romantic works. Felix Mendelssohn’s “Psalm 42” is one of the most lyrical and rapturous choral works of the century. Rheinberger was a popular contemporary of Brahms who specialized in Catholic choral works.
