Opening Reception with Judith Scott

KCAC invites visitors to our new exhibition in the Main Gallery. Please visit our website for further instructions on how to reserve a 30 minute, five people or fewer time slot. The artist Judith Scott will be in the gallery from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm to meet visitors and introduce her current body of work.
Judith Scott’s paintings are layers of oils on canvas. Vibrant jewel-like colors showcase abstract and representational styles. Scott’s paintings are large in scale, inviting the viewer to enter into the world being portrayed. This exhibition also includes large etchings that are representational, portraying the beauty of Missouri.
