PorchFestKC

Returning for a 6th year, PorchFestKC returns to beautiful Roanoke and Valentine neighborhoods where 130 bands will perform from front porches of homes — all in a single afternoon. Bands from all over the region and beyond (including IA, NE, OK, IL and AR) will perform of all genres in one-hour sets. Festival attendees should bring their lawn chair and follow their ear — or download the app and make a plan!

Each hour between 17 and 25 bands will be performing simultaneously throughout the two neighborhoods. The event is free to attend. Bands perform for tips, and we strongly encourage everyone in attendance to drop a few dollars in every tip jar for every porch they attend.

This is a family-friendly, creative, terrific event showcasing much of what is amazing about Kansas City — community, beautiful architecture, and the arts.
