Retro Rock Hip Hop Culture Jam

You may have heard of Hip Hop Jams like this before, or thought they only happened ‘back in the day’ in the movies. Here’s your chance to see it, feel it, and hear it in person. An entirely fresh and unique family-friendly arts experience that builds community through the core values of true Hip Hop: peace, love, unity, and having fun. Come through just to watch the battles and enjoy the positive vibes in the atmosphere. Or sign-up to compete and show your skills. Either way, don’t miss this Jam!!

Presented by James aka SugEasy Singleton, the Broadway Bistro, Translation in Movement, and Souls of Sole Crew. Our friends DJ JocMax, DJ Platinum, and a few surprise guests will be spinning out funky tunes to keep things in the groove. The Retro Rock judges are pioneers and experts in the Hip Hop movement: BBoy Ynot (Rock Steady Crew), Buddha Stretch (Elite Force), DJ P (Rock Steady Crew), Boogaloo Sam (Electric Boogaloos), Mac Lethal, and Gear. All the battles will be dope and there are big cash prizes for the winners! The Broadway Bistro is the place to be–a chill, multi-room venue where all of the Hip Hop action will take place.
