Rockhurst Theater concludes its 2018-19 season with a performance of William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” directed by Matthew Schmidli, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 12; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13; and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14.
The play portrays the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta, the former queen of the Amazons. Included in this adventure are the stories of four young Athenian lovers and a group of six amateur actors (the mechanicals) who are controlled and manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest.

Tickets, sold at the door, are $10 for adults, $5 for students and senior citizens.
