Sky Smeed has self-released six albums. He’s a masterful guitar player, something easy to miss as his lyrics draw you into his life story. His latest album, Leaving Again, flips that title on its head as he celebrates a recent marriage and returning home. There’s a positive note to the album absent from some of his earlier recordings. He still enjoys making his audience smile with entertaining stories and incidents that color his new life in Lawrence, Kansas.
